The story

Technology takes on an almost human form. A blend of live 3D-scanned dancers and pre-rendered movements play out a subtle dynamic of dialogue, resistance, and confrontation. Tension builds, peaks, and erupts. Out of fear, out of a loss of control, the humans pull the plug. In slow distress, she fades away.

Volt[age] is a flexible immersive concept. It can be played and adapted as a full 360° experience but as a single backdrop classical stage scene as well.

Nicolas Landrieux / Exhausted-Lab is a French visual artist and sound designer who fuses opposites into a unique artistic expression. Despite a congenital muscle disease, he refused to be defined by external boundaries, instead, he has made it his creative principle to unite contradictions and create new forms of expression.
